At TruthTeller, folks often ask about our name and jester logo.  Historically, jesters were entertainers to the king.  They were entitled to speak truth, and wit and humor were their tools to speak that truth. We strongly believe in the power and importance of truth-telling. 

Over time, we have continued to find deeper meaning in the name TruthTeller. We celebrate TruthTellers, who come in many forms.  For example, our second label, The Miscreant Project, celebrates rebels and mischief-makers who have their own unique truths to tell.

Imps are creatures of mythology and folklore. They love mischief and pranks and are known for their entertaining practical jokes. Some imps are magically bound to objects, most famously to bottles! When released from the object, they often take bodily form and start their free-spirited mischief. Sounds just right for this lovely light and fun-loving wine! What do you say? Cabernet Franc
Jesters were known as the Fools and had to be clever to keep their heads. But remember, “fool” is also a verb – to “trick”. A facade of foolishness can be a clever ploy. Is there a clever trick at work here? This 100% Cab Franc presents itself directly to you, not in the background of a supporting role. (Then again, check out the initials of Clever Fool and Cabernet Franc. A clever ploy.)
