Josh
Tech geek turned wine geek…
A Pacific Northwest resident since 2002 (with roots in Southern Idaho and studies at the University of Idaho and Colorado State), Josh brings a worldly perspective informed by travels throughout New Zealand, Germany, and the Mediterranean. He favors the rich character of Mourvèdre (with Cabernet Sauvignon a close second) and curates a diverse wine list featuring both New and Old World selections, with an emphasis on Washington wines, small-production vineyards, and distinguished wines from women and minority-led wineries. May and June Featured Artist: Christopher Kroehler
We are thrilled to welcome Seattle-based artist Christopher Kroehler as our featured guest for May and June. Christopher brings a truly unique perspective to the walls of Barrels with his signature “dimensional paintings.”
By applying paint to both the inner and outer surfaces of vintage glass, Christopher creates layered, urban narratives that shift and evolve as you move around them. His work explores the intersection of memory, architecture, and light, transforming reclaimed materials into glowing windows that capture the heartbeat of the city. Whether you are a longtime collector or a first-time Art Walk visitor, Christopher’s work invites you to pause and discover a new dimension in every frame.
